Today we trimmed all the trees in the yard....only 35 acres to go. :) We also planted the fig tree cuttings which my cousin, Lana, gave us. Hmmm, ulterior motives? She has kept J.R. supplied in his favorite preserves.

It was nice getting those trees trimmed up for mowing this year. They also make the place look better.

Looking forward to reading your blog. I turn to you for advice and answers to all sorts of questions, not only because you are my big sister and friend, but because you are one of the most knowlegdable people that I know. You are such an interesting person.
Love,
Susan
Way to go Connie, I am proud of you. I have thought about blogging but I am still chicken. I am a 42 year old that is still behind time. Maybe next year, ha ! Best Wishes !

Hi Connie,
Nice blog. Yes, it's a new age (blogging and websites!!) and a time that people can see your life in a different way. Louis and I entered this new age this past summer. Its been a lot of fun! I look forward to reading more of your blogs! Love ya, Amber
Connie,
I finally looked at your blog and am totally amazed! We lived like that in Maynard before moving to B'ville and it was great.
Now life is pretty much spent on laundry and cleaning the boys' bathroom!
We started our garden up again this year. Sometime I want to get back to the place where you are.
Love,
Debbie
